9/13/06: Switchfoot's next album has been officially titled Oh! Gravity. and is scheduled to release on December 26! The album is said to have a harder rock edge than past albums.
A new song from Oh! Gravity., "Dirty Second Hands", will be released digitally (iTunes, etc) on September 26.

1/27/06: Switchfoot will be on the Carson Daly show tonight! Stay up late or set your VCR or TiVo for the show. The show airs on NBC at 1:35am for 1 hour. Rumor has it that Switchfoot will be performing not one song, but three!

6/28/05: Nothing Is Sound has been delayed again and will release September 13th. The album is sure to be worth the wait, however. 4/23/05: Congratulations to Switchfoot for their GMA "Dove" Award wins! Switchfoot won 4 awards including "Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year" and "Short Form Music Video of the Year" both for "Dare You To Move", "Long Form Music Video" for their Live In San Diego DVD, and top honors - "Artist of the Year".
If you haven't been checking out www.switchfoot.com, there have been in-studio photos of the band working on their up-coming album. Rumor has it the new album will release in July, but no word on the official album title has been announced.

Last night MTV premiered the special Switchfoot episode of Hard Rock Live. The 30 minute show features parts of a live Switchfoot concert taped in Orlando, FL. If you missed it, don't worry, the show will re-air a few more times on MTV and MTV2 in the next few days.

10/29/04: As some of you may have heard, Jon has been involved in a friend (Daniel Victor)'s musical project called Neverending White Lights. Click here to watch a video featuring an interview with Jon, live clips of "On Fire" (the song was co-written by the pair), and a live acoustic performance of "Throwing Chairs" performed (and co-written) by Jon and Daniel.
On Sunday November 14th, Switchfoot will perform at the halftime show for the MLS Cup - the championship game of Major League Soccer. The game will air on ABC at 3:30pm EST (check local listings for more information).
10/8/04: Next week Switchfoot will be featured on "Sessions @ AOL" on Fuse TV. Switchfoot's episode will be premiering Monday (Oct. 11) at 7pm & 11pm EST, and will be repeated throughout the week. Check www.fuse.tv for more info and a clip of the episode.

On March 8th, a special CD will be releasing in tribute to Switchfoot. The String Quartet Tribute To Switchfoot is produced and arranged by Todd Mark Reubenstein. We are definitely looking forward to hearing the string renditions of 11 Switchfoot originals, as well as the additional song written by Reubenstein and inspired by the band.
6/16/04: Switchfoot will be on Pepsi Smash tomorrow night on the WB at 8/7c. If you miss it, the show will re-air Sunday evening (check local listings for time).
Next Tuesday (6/22), a Switchfoot will re-release a limited edition version of The Beautiful Letdown. The 2-disc CD will include extra songs not on the original album like "Monday Comes Around", and video features like the making of the "Dare You To Move" video. 4/29/04: Congratulations to Switchfoot for taking home 3 "Dove Awards" last night at the 35th Annual GMA Awards ceremony in Nashville, TN.
